Girls Day Out with a Side of Date Night

Us girls have been working hard around the house this past week so we thought we deserved an afternoon of lunch and some shopping at cityplace...but first Isabelle wanted to play a little dress up...

Our first stop, like always, was the wishing fountain...

Then we went to lunch at BB Kings...

Then we went and did a little shopping at Gymboree and Justice, where Isabelle bought a pair of skinny jeans and tried to convince me that she needed a shirt that shows her belly because that is what ALL the rockstars wear...

Luke had an hour off from school, so he met up with us just in time for ice cream...

Luke headed back to school and us girls took a drive over to the island to check out the tropical storm waves and show Brecklyn the mega mansions on Palm Beach...

We headed back to the house just in time for me to get ready for my hot date with the hubby. Brecklyn was nice enough to watch Isabelle so Luke and I could catch a movie and go to a party at his Frat brothers aka sisters house...

26 weeks

All and all we had an awesome day :)

Baby Jude's Room...A Work in Progress

With baby Jude's arrival getting closer and closer I thought it was finally time to start working on his nursery. We have had a friend staying with us this past week, so I took advantage of her and we started the process this week. Up until now our 3rd bedroom has basically been a landing place for random items that need to be taken to goodwill or organized into other rooms.

We cleared the room and painted the walls Sapphire blue...

Some of my next plans include, painting the inside of the closet apple green and turning the desk into a changing table...

I found this little side table at Goodwill for 4.00 and have plans to paint it the same green as the closet...

Another Goodwill find, this cute basket can hold toys or books and was a steal at 3.00...

Keep an eye out for a fun art project using these records I scored for .69 a piece { I bought 6}...

And some fun decor that will be transformed into something else...

Saturday was a beautiful day and all though I wasnt feeling the greatest, we got ourselves together and then went to Denny's to eat and then had plans to go to the Playmobil store {Playmobil is a brand of toys and they have every play-set they sell set up at the store and the kids can play with EVERYTHING}

Dennys wasnt so nice to my belly so we had to hold off on Playmobil for another day but when we got home it was sooo nice out that we pulled out the outside toys and headed out back onto the golf course to play...

We chatted with our neighbor Anne for a bit and she gave us some freshly baked cookies {yumm} then headed back inside to get ready for bed...I wonder what we will get into today?
