The Sweet Family Gets a New Member..NoNo the Christmas Elf

The Sweet family got a magical visitor on Saturday morning!! Meet NoNo the Sweet family Christmas Elf...

Isabelle woke up early on Saturday morning to a wonderful breakfast made just for us by this magical Elf...

The Elf even brought a letter to send to Santa

Isabelle was of course full of questions...How did the Elf get here? How did SHE make all this food with those tiny little hands?

Luckily, the Elf brought a book for us to read that answered a lot of her questions and gave us some additional rules to follow. No touching the Elf {the magic will disappear}, the Elf reports back to Santa every night and then returns to a new place everyday, the Elf will disappear for the season, on Christmas Eve night, coming back next year. The best  part? You can choose the name of your family's Elf...Our Elf...NoNo...

After the questions were answered and book read, it was time to dig into the treats NoNo brought for us...

Reindeer doughnuts

A snowman family

Loving life... Marshmallows at 7 a.m.

After the sugar rush we got to work on writing a letter to Santa...

We hung around in our p.j's for the better part of the afternoon, then headed down to Cityplace to mail our letter to Santa, and do check out some festive Christmas decorations and sand sculptures dowtown...

Mailing her letter to Santa!

The Christmas Etc. store had so many awesome decorations. I am keeping some of these in the "future plans" vault...

A Christmas Story

The Grinch one was my favorite

Catching the trolley to Clematis street
They have these awesome sand sculptures all over downtown this year at different points leading down to the water front where there is always something going on

Once we made it to the end we were surprised to see a stage set up...

Vanilla Ice was in town performing a free outdoor concert for Toys for Tots so there was some interesting characters hanging around...

Something to look forward to

Isabelle loved him

After all that walking around we had worked up an appetite so we caught the trolley back to Cityplace and went to City Pizza for a quick bite to eat...

Before we could head home we had to stop at Isabelle's favorite spot...the train ride...

It truly is a Sweet life!
