Alll weekend long. Luke had a Halloween party to go to on Saturday, so I set him up with some creepy zombie make up...
Isabelle and I used this opportunity to get to work on our pumpkins and our ghost jugs {thanks pintrest}...

Sunday came along and with it brought more rain. Isabelle decided she wanted to use some of the make up left over from daddys zombie look to make herself {or for me to make her} into a tiger...
Rawrrr |
Next, we finished up our ghost jugs. These were really fun and easy for Isabelle to participate in the making of. We saved up milk jugs for a couple weeks and used a tutorial from pintrest to put them all together...
Proud of her work |
After our little ghosts were all lined up, we got back to work on our pumpkins. Last year we made the mistake of actually carving our pumpkins, which we learned when you live in Florida, is NOT a good idea! It was molded and rotten in 2 days. So, this year we went for a different approach...
Isabelle and her wacky, painted, Mr. potato head pumpkin |
My painted funny googly eyed pumkpkin |
With all that hard work, we had worked up quite an appetite. There is nothing better than a big pot of veggie soup after a soaking week weekend...
But really, what fun is veggie soup? So, we got busy on our next project for the day, Halloween cookies...
My side kick ready to bake |
Stir it up |
Roll it out |
Bake them up |
Add icing of course |
After all that, it was bedtime. Isabelle and I were both pooped, but are ready for Halloween!! Bring it on...
