Trunk or Treat

This Wednesday we took Isabelle to trunk or treat at West Pines Baptist Church. One of Luke's class mates invited us to this event last year and it was wonderful so when it came around again this year we jumped at the opportunity to attend. The members of the church decorate their trunks in both Halloween and non-Halloween themes and provide the children with a safe environment to collect as much candy as they can! 


This year Isabelle chose to dress up as Blueberry Muffin, who is one of Strawberry Shortcakes friends...

Like I said, we have been to this church before however, we were a little hazy on the directions and it took us a little while to find it. Isabelle took this opportunity to do what she does best in the car...pass out...

Isabelle was soo excited to show all the kids her costume! In the past, she has been nervous about asking for her candy {men mostly} but this year she walked right up to the cars and said, "trick or treat"...

After her bag was full and we had seen all the trunks, Isabelle took a load off with some other kids to sample some of her haul...

We had such a good time and were lucky that mamaw and papaw Myers were in town to come and share in the event with us...
