Fathers Day Safari

This past Sunday was father's day. Happy Belated Fathers Day to all the Dads out there!! It was a gorgeous day so we decided to head to Lion Country Safari. They have a summer special running where you can buy a summer pass that gets you into Lion Country Safari, Miami Metro Zoo, Miami Seaquarium, and Ft. Lauderdale museum of Science and Discovery. The cost was a little more than a regular days admission cost and we can now go to any of the above places ALL SUMMER AS MUCH AS WE WANT!!! Such a deal!! I love a good deal. So, keep a look out for future posts about our adventures there. For now, on to Lion Country Safari...

It was super hot by the time we got there and super busy. Luckily, the first part of the park is a drive through safari...

At the end of the drive through safari, there is an amusement park area with petting areas, animal feeding exhibits, rides, and a splash park...

Having fun looking around while sissy rode the carousel

Isabelle is not a big fan or rides, but LOVES to play all the games when we go to places like this. She found a fun boat driving game and was in heaven...

Boat race area

Someone squirted her while she was waiting for her turn

That water felt so good that we decided we would go find the splash park and cool off for a while...

Pretty nice place

After Isabelle had ran all she wanted, we grabbed a funnel cake and then took off to explore the rest of the park...

We found some bongos

Team work

Next we came across some picture props {blogger is messing up my pics some some are sideways, I apologize}

Isabelle loves lions and tigers and was pumped when she found one she could sit on...

About to growl

It was starting to get late in the day so we made our way back through the park and back to the car. We had a lot of fun and I look forward to going back and doing some of the things we skipped over this time.

Happy Father's Day!!
