Super Fun Friday

Last Friday was a gorgeous day, so the kids and I had a full day of family fun {daddy had to work so missed out, boo} Our first adventure of the day was one of our favorite spots, the zoo!!

We found a nest of baby peacocks in some landscaping and then caught a look at the daddy who was very, very proud!

We went off to see all of our other favorites including the otters, jaguar, and the Florida Panther who we found had unfortunately passed away..sniff..To brighten then mood and cool off a bit, we headed to the inside part of the cafe for some lunch...

We filled up on our lunch and finished up the rest of the zoo before heading home and on to more fun...

As soon as we hit the door, we threw on our bathing suits, grabbed some popsicles and headed down to the pool.{it was super hot that day}

It wasn't long before Jude decided he had been awake long enough and took a pool side snooze...

We stayed down at the pool until hubs came home from work...

We lugged all of our pool gear back into the house, fired up the grill, and hung on the lanai while we cooked some hot dogs for dinner. We even had an animal encounter in our own tree...
