Buddy Walk

As most of you already know, either from speaking with  us, or from following our blog, Luke is pledging a fraternity this semester. He is required to do lots of different things, including some community service events. This Sunday he sold some raffle tickets for his fraternity at The National Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk. This was such a great event and Isabelle, Brecklyn, and I joined Luke after the walk for some fun activities. Our first stop was the large inflatable slide...

Isabelle and one of Lukes "female brothers" at the top
I tried to get a pic of her sliding down but a lady stepped right in front of my and ruined the picture..and of course Isabelle didn't want to go again...but luckily daddy got his chance when a little boy asked him to race...

Whoo hoo

Next, we stopped at the bounce house...

Then headed over to the petting zoo...

Petting the baby pig

Isabelle and I were both too afraid to hold the pig so we volunteered Brecklyn

It was the park after all, so we had to get in a little playground action...

We then were the last people accepted into the line for face painting and I am so happy we made the cut...

The cutest pink puppy I have ever seen

There were tons of raffles and auctions available and Luke had the winning bid on this Chris Carter football...

We had such a great time and it was such a great cause. This fraternity stuff may be ok after all :)
