Life's a Beach

Yesterday was little mans 3 week check up at the doctor. I knew going in he was going to have to get a shot so of course I was a nervous wreck. The nurse weighed and measured him and I was shocked when she told me my little 7lb 6oz baby boy was now a hefty 9lbs 5oz and has grown an inch! He does like to eat so I shouldn't be too surprised. Then it was time for the shot, ugh, she let me hold him and told me that this is one of the more painful shots so that he would cry for a bit. Yikes! That's not making me feel any better. So, I held back my tears as she shot him in the leg. He let out a little cry but by the time the nurse got the band aid on his leg and I cuddled him up on my shoulder he had stopped! This boy is tough as nails, just like his big sister! After all that drama we decided a nice afternoon at the beach was just what we all needed.

Isabelle of course wasted no time, got right down to business with her digging...

Isabelle then spent some time running up and down the beach and doing some yoga like moves...

This was all too much excitement for Jude of course so he spent his time napping...

We headed back home to cook out some burgers and dogs on the patio and Isabelle and Jude played some dress up...
